The lobby area is amazing but the rooms need updating. It gives very spooky rooms. The TV is seriously small. The lobby gave a different view from what the actual rooms look like. The beds were extremely hard.

Properties location was ideal for catching public transit and walking the french quarter. Staff was extremely friendly but the front desk seems to be in a constant state of constant state of confusion. The Travelocity rate does not match what the hotel charges, or the fact they want a 60 dollar a night incidental hold. I still dont have my rate straightened out after multiple trips to the front desk. I am now home trying to straighten it out.

This place is old and so dirty. Random doors open. I felt like I was staying in a hostel. The pool was not accessible and it was the main reason why I booked. The front desk even gave me a green wristband knowing the pool wasn’t accessible and from what I could see it was dirty and nothing like the pictures. I will never book here again

Good hotel for location.

Unfortunately, the check-in process we experienced was poor and left a bad first impression. The rooms were somewhat okay, but the beds were very noisy with every movement, which made it hard to sleep comfortably. The hotel itself felt a bit worn down and in need of updates. That said, the location was excellent—close to everything we needed. It's clear this was once a very nice hotel, but the wear and lack of upkeep are starting to show. With a few improvements, it could be a great stay again.

Convenient location but wouldn't recommend

Hotel is in a very convenient location to many attractions. I was on the 5th floor and during several evenings there were load noises coming from the lower floors that didn't allow for a peaceful sleep. Room had stains on carpet and at room entry to bathroom, tile floor board was cracked and looked dirty. The room are truly in need of upgrades.

My room was very damp, room 4448. It had a wet damp feeling on the rug the sheets the air, along with a wet mildew smell. The bed made noises every time I moved. I got zero sleep. The toilet would sometimes flush and other times not, and would randomly make a loud recycling flushing noise multiple times throughout the night. I love that this hotel is at the corner of Canal and Bourbon. In a few steps you can catch the Canal or St. Charles streetcars. And if you are into the nightlife, you are right on Bourbon Street or take the streetcar down to the Casino!

The hotel staff didn’t greet me and rarely looked up as if they didn’t want to be bothered. The bathroom sink in my room was clogged. Advised staff on day one-it was disregarded. The rooms are dated but clean and the restaurant on site is nice. Overall, it was ok. Will not be back-

Liked the location and cleanliness of the property. I had difficulty sleeping the first night on the very firm pillows, but the front desk helped us get very soft pillows which made the rest of our stay excellent.
