Separate game room barn dominion with bedroom was perfect for our teenage grandkids. Plenty of back and forth between the main house and game room so everyone had plenty of together time.Looking out on the back porch with deer walking around was great. The outdoor bar next to the hot tub had a huge tv to watch football bowl games while hanging out in the tub.Super family friendly for us and perfect for parties.Couldn't have been any better!!!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Summit Cowboy. There was a total of 8 of us during our staycation getaway. Arriving at The Summit Cowboy, we found the accommodations absolutely welcoming. The home is perched atop Summit Drive with a beautiful vantage point of the valley. The back deck allows for a connection to nature as the deer make their visits both in the mornings and early evenings. There is a can containing a bag of dried corn for visitors to feed the friendly though very skittish neighbors. The house has plenty of bedrooms to comfortably sleep twelve adults. The kitchen is fully furnished so if you were looking to prepare your own meals, you would have no problem doing so. The owners are kind enough to stock two coffee stations with Keurig coffees and creamers. There are also an abundance of large screen TVs throughout the house, outside by the bar and in the barn itself. Sitting on the sofa and watching movies would be no problem if that is what you would like to do on your vacation. The gas grill outside is a plus if you are into grilling while you are there. The detached barn or game room is fantastic for family entertainment. You have your choice of shuffle board, ping pong, foosball, pool and corn hole games to choose from. There is no shortage of fun time activities. Lastly, if you would just like to relax in the hot tub, you can easily fit six people in there.Such a wonderful place to stay. Great location

Our young adult group thoroughly enjoyed their stay at this property. They enjoyed all the games and activities in the barn, as well as the deer in the back yard. They could relax or be active playing games. Thank you for the ease of check-in and check-out, we would definitely come back to this property.

Graduation weekend celebration

We had such a wonderful stay this past weekend while in town for my daughter’s graduation from Texas State. Lots of family in town and we all had beds and plenty of space. After the ceremony we came back for dinner and get together to celebrate the new graduate. The game room and outside patio with hot tub made for a fun and memorable night. Would recommend to anyone!

Wonderful spring break visit. This property is perfect for groups with plenty of activities and games to entertain. Great layout of the home with three kings, which is unusual, a bunk room, and a wonderful ‘party barn’ with an additional double queen and bath.

Perfect weekend getaway!

We loved our stay at this property. It was a girls weekend. The house was even better than the pictures. Elizabeth was easy to work with and was very responsive. We loved all the little extra details, like the coffee bar, too! The beds were very comfortable, even the bunk beds! I have no complaints and it was all super easy. Definitely will be bringing the families back soon.

Family Birthday gathering

We had such an amazing time at The Cowboy summit! The property is a gem. We had all ages for this family stay from ages 5-70 and we all had a wonderful time! The Barn/bar was so much fun!! We got to see the moon and the stars through our telescope, we brought my travel solo stove and made s'mores, got in the hot tub, had some friendly battles of ping pong, fooseball and pool! Got to watch football in the barn/bar. Definitely plenty to do. The host, Elizabeth, was wonderful and we can't wait to go back. We have decided to make this an annual family thing:) 10/10 highly recommend. We amazing!thing.

We each enjoyed our time relaxing and enjoying our time making memories to last a lifetime. The location worked for everyone, the house felt very homey, and we all were very comfortable. All in all a fantastic time.

Fun Family River Trip

The house was perfect for a multi-family getaway. The porch was very nice and had a constant breeze and with littles, it was so nice that it was fenced off. The party barn was a huge bonus and where we spent most all our time other than the porch! Tons of deer, plenty of games and just overall a nice place to gather. Host was very responsive and the location was easy to get to. The carpets were pretty worn but other than that it was a lovely home and we were happy with everything.

Family Reunion

Our group consisted of 5 adults and 5 teenagers. We had a wonderful time. The teenagers enjoyed the barn and the activities in the barn. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the equipment we needed. We had enough bathrooms and showers that we could all get ready for the day without crowding or waiting. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio watching the wildlife and enjoying with quite countryside.
