Comfy Corner a large comfortable one room condo with a strict no smoking policy

Comfy Corner A unique one bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed in a condo room that is larger than many hotel rooms. It has its own a/c and heating unit that only you can control. We love that it is surrounded by nature, places to walk, and ponds throughout the walking area. You have your own private keyed entrance. No one else has access to it during your stay.

It has room darkening curtains making it a great place to sleep. We have a coffee maker with coffee pods. There is a small table and 2 chairs, a luggage rack, and a TV with over the air channels and a fire stick where you can access your own apps.


There is a pool behind The Pointe Golf Course that is $10 a day for couples and $15 a day for families. Prices are as of this writing. We have a beautiful public golf course open 7 days a week weather permitting or unless there is an event; and "The Pointe" restaurant on site is open 5 days a week, Wednesdays through Sundays. On Mondays and Tuesdays we have food trucks that are located in the parking lot of the bank's ATM.

There are many excellent restaurants in Downtown New Bern. Morgan' s Tavern is our favorite. The Marina has a small store and we have a Dollar General a few miles away where you can pick up various items. It does not have a kitchen but it does have a small refrigerator, separate freezer, and a microwave and a coffee maker with coffee pods and tea bags. It is a great place to visit and/or look around if you are planning to move to this area!

We keep our nightly price low as it is a one large room unit and is on the second floor. It is a nice area to walk around with the Marina walking distance from the unit.

There are events in town and in Fairfield Harbour throughout the year. New Bern is the Colonial Capital of North Carolina. It is a very quaint, historical town. There is Mum Fest, the Ghost Walk, The Firefighters Museum, The Pepsi Museum and Tryon Palace as well as historical churches and sections of the City, to name a few popular sites and events. There are walking trails and the unit is walking distance to the Fishing Pier.

New Bern is a historic city. It dates back to colonial times. There is Tryon Palace, the Firefighters Museum, Union Park along the Neuse River, Great Restaurants, and you can book trips in town and on the water.

We have a restaurant called The Pointe which serves lunch, dinner and drinks on Wednesdays through Sundays. The 18 hole golf course is also located at The Pointe. It is about 2 miles to the restaurant and golf course.

You can spend a few nights, a week, or longer; but you don't have to spend a fortune! Check in is at 3:00 pm and Check out is at 11:00 am. Please feel free to ask for extensions of check in and out by contacting me. Whenever no one else is checking in or out, I can extend a certain amount of time for your convenience!
