The breakfast was good, mostly sweet. I would be nicer with some cheese and charcuterie options and/or omelette station. We received a complimentary small bottle of wine( 2 glasses) because we were celebrating a wedding anniversary. Also, the hotel upgraded our room.

The Inn at Pelican Bay is our favorite hotel in the Naples area! All of the staff are so professional, extremely nice, and very accommodating! The hotel and grounds are immaculate and gorgeous! This hotel is reasonably nice with very kind and helpful staff. The beds (doubles) are small and somewhat uncomfortable and some things seem dated. For the price/star rating, I expected a higher quality continental breakfast. The fruit on the buffet is not super fresh and the donuts were bad, too. A lot of things felt prepped ahead and stored rather than fresh daily. An onsite bar with consistent hours and better food options for breakfast would be improvements. I’m not terribly picky so overall I had a good stay, but it was clear the hotel caters to older people and doesn’t really understand what it would take to make the guest experience truly 4 stars.
