"The accommodation was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed, although some aspects were a bit run down and stained. The beach location was excellent, beautiful place to be. From the descriptions on the website, I thought the hotel had activities and tours available and would have happily paid for these extras. However staff weren’t able to recommend things to do (apart from noting that their kayaks were free of charge), and their boat (for snorkelling, island tours etc) was being fixed. When we went to the front desk and asked them to call specific tour companies on our behalf with questions, they did so, but we had to do the research ourselves to start with. So, staff were very friendly and lovely to interact with, but not overly helpful. The food was below average, although the setting for the bar and restaurant is great. Considering the price, which is much lower than the more swanky resorts, it was good value for what we got (comfortable, clean, basic accommodation in a lovely setting with friendly staff), next time I would adjust my expectations and know to plan (rather than relying on resort activities or advice) and eat offsite."
