Those who wish to explore Mondragon are advised to consider securing somewhere to sleep well in advance of their departure date, as they won't find an extensive selection of options in the vicinity of where the locals live in Mondragon.
The Ellauri Hotela, Vizcaya, which is the closest accommodation option, sits 12 miles (19 kilometers) from the town center of Mondragon. Instead, you might like to look into the Relais du Silence Hotel & Spa Etxegana, located in Vizcaya, which is 12 miles (20 kilometers) from the downtown area.
