Nice home! Safe and quiet neighborhood

Thanks for the great stay at the Shadows. Everything you need is provided. Close to everything in the area. Good safe side walks to explore the neighborhood. I would suggest some sort of handle in the bath tub area for safety. A decorative handle could work. It does not need to be intrusive to the decorative theme. The bed in the room closest to the living room was most comfortable for us. We tried both of course. And the first room is more quiet as you can’t hear the ac compressor turning on in the second room.

Stunningly Charming Historic Home!

Catherine's precious home in Mobile was exquisite and absolutely perfect for an extended stay in the city, a quick weekend visit, etc. It was far enough away to feel as secluded and safe as a charming neighborhood can feel, but close enough for all attractions. We were enamored with the efforts to modernize and decorate the home without losing the integrity and utterly unique magic of the historic home... No potential needs were overlooked and communication was top tier level... Catherine went above and beyond.. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Great place!

This house was so cute and perfect for our stay during my friends wedding. Perfect location, updated interior of the house. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. Parking area is excellent; spacious, relatively private. Stepping stones are uneven, only one handrail for the steps, top step into the house is super high, especially for people with balance issues. Shower is EXCELLENT, shower curtain is annoying. Will book again if we return to Mobile!

Lovely neighborhood

Stayed a week in AL and this was our first stop. The home was as expected - clean and tidy. Great space for lounging. The neighborhood was beautiful, and the location couldn't have been better! A short 10–15-minute drive to the USS Alabama and Dauphin Street. The owner was very attentive. We were scheduled to arrive a couple days after Hurricane Helene was supposed to hit land, so we reached out to the owner about our trip and options. She stayed in constant communication with us during this ordeal which was greatly appreciated. Overall, great place to start our trip.

enjoyed our visit with family in Mobile house had everything we needed and then some. lovely historic home, tastefully decorated in quiet section of city. would like to see a handhold in bathroom. beautiful doaking tub/shower was too tall for me to get in and out of. my husband had to help me. would love to stay here another time if its available thanks Catherine for sharing your home.
