From what I could tell, the poor guy at the front desk was the only person working in the entire building. Arrived to check in between 9-9:30 and after noticing a very disgruntled looking couple in the lobby (turns out they had the last available room, and it was dirty), was told by the gentlemen at the desk that they had been overbooked and hadn’t a chance to call me and tell me the room I reserved wasn’t actually available. At 9:30pm. Even though there’s another Hampton Inn a few miles down the road, all that could be offered to me was “a refund with fees waived”. I should certainly hope so, as I did nothing to deserve to pay said fees. What horrible management you must have to be left alone to run an entire hotel and not even given the clearance to offer an extremely inconvenienced guest a discounted night or even just a room at another Hampton Inn for something that was the companies mistake. Shame on you for putting your staff in that position, I will never again attempt to spend my money at a Hampton Inn. If that is how you treat your staff, I will gladly pay more for a room elsewhere.

The staff was very helpful, friendly and inviting. Liked the cookies at the desk and the 24hr availability of coffee or hot water for tea. Hotel was very quiet and beds were comfortable.

The room was a bit small, but since we didnt spend much time in the room it wasn't a big deal. The pool water was quite cold though, and the hot rub was broken with an out of order sign that looked like it had been there a while. Beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Wonderful Stay

Hotel was impeccable. Our room was exactly what we booked and paid for. One king size bed and a double sized pull-out couch. The room was very clean and crisp. Accommodations included EVERYTHING! We even had free internet access, a small refrigerator-microwave-and coffee maker in the room. The room was very updated (the only exception was no flat screen television - but we rarely used anyway). Beds (and pillows) were very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and we were always provided with enough towels, etc. There was even a note that if you had forgotten any necessities to phone the front desk and they would be provided to you! The pool was the perfect temperature. Whirlpool was very nice as well. Pool area was very well maintained. Breakfast was provided daily and there was plenty to choose from (enough to fulfill even the pickiest eater's desires!) The only complaints I had were that our internet access was cut-off on the last night of our stay (although not a big deal since we were tired and went to sleep). We had an excellent stay - and the service was wonderful :)

Great Stay

I always stay at the Woodbury Hampton Inn when I travel on business and the staff at the desk has never been anything less than stellar! The hotel is clean, well maintained and the breakfast is great!
