Our first time staying at Rydges Pt Macquarie and we would hesitate in staying here again. The location is incredible, the staff professional and friendly, the facilities excellent, the buffet breakfast varied and tasty and the room was very comfortable. It was great value for money.

Fantastic view. The view and location were excellent. While the room was very compact, it met our needs. The Lady at the front desk was helpful with obtaining some ice for us.

"We stayed one night on the way to Byron Bay from Newcastle. It was a good stay. The price was quite high for where it's situated. Also a canal view means the car park and a creek in the very background. A 10 min walk into the CBD. It was quiet though and room was clean and standard hotel upgrade. Better options closer to CBD for the price though.
