This is a good hotel right In front of the Malecón it's a few blocks away from the cathedral and the historical center. the staff is friendly and check in is simple and easy. This hotel is in older so its nothing fancy but its kept up well. Its good for the price and the ocean view.

The A/C worked well and it is right across the street to the Boardwalk (Malecon). You can walk safely on the Malecon 24 hours a day. It was great.

No coffee pot which sucks because none of the coffee places is open till 7 AM.. the beds could use an upgrade and be softer however, the cost was effective so you just pick your battles. People were lovely and the hotel was super convenient to the Museum of Art, where I was in an exhibition (only 3 blocks!). The room was fine and the view was phenomenal, but the street noise was hard to block out. No water pressure in the shower. Also very close to truly amazing restaurants - in fact, I did not have even a mediocre meal in Mazatlán - delicious and sophisticated! I would have chosen another hotel but I managed to get a last-minute deal - frankly, no complaints - it was fine and Mazatlán is fabulous with lots of arts and culture.
