Room was good. Staff was good. Noise level in the room and On the beach was horrible! Constant terrible bands. Food at every place on the property was pretty bad. Beautiful beach but not enjoyable due to the noise! Our room was right over the veranda so lights come on at 3:30 am loud noise as they clean and prepare for the day. Even with the door closed the bands were loud!

The balcony ocean view was fantastic. Every area I. The hotel is easily accessible by the beach . There are many little pools all over the property The bad : the service is non-existent, forget bad, you are just ignored Anything advertised for kids is unavailable - kids club was closed the whole time. The kids water parks don't have running water just shallow stagnant water The food was terrible even local food , which I love was watered down , breads were stale; no one bothered with refilling buffet stations that were empty This place was equivalent to a econolodge. I must note that this appeared to be an Expedia problem rather than the hotel itself. I don't think anyone has verified details. It's also not an all inclusive but default so be careful when booking to make sure id that is the option All in all , you will pay an equivalent $$ for a much better place on the strip.. don't get conned by the " deals"

Hello, just wanted to share with you all that my experience with the entire team at Hotel Playa Mazatlán was incredible! From the start when we got to the gates the guards were so nice but very meticulous with security ( that was a huge piece of mind) then the lobby staff are amazing and it was cool sooo a huge plus too! Than the bell boy and the rooms,the room cleaning staff as well as the pool and restaurant's staff were amazing and the FOOD, the FOOD IS DELICIOUS!! Literally music, games or shows every single night! I recommend 100% without a doubt! I will come back next year with more family. Kathia Lopez

The view from the balcony was amazing all day long. The room was good for the price, I would upgrade the next time. There are absolutely no words for the staff. I cannot stop bragging about them. Luis, Markus and so many more were AMAZING!!!!! Great job staff! I have been to other areas of Mexico and never felt unsafe but lots of warnings. Here we walked all over and never felt more safe. We went all over with little to no escorts. The street are so clean compared to other areas of Mexico. The options of things to do are unlimited and ran out of time. The beach is beautiful and the water is perfect for swimming. We watch dolphins play while eating breakfast. I would consider a Tour to Rancho Mr. Lionso a must. A Tequila ranch with so much to offer, ATVs, horse back riding and so on. Amazing people and cannot wait to go back. The only draw back is snorkeling and scuba diving a limited, but there is so much more here to make up for it. We will most definitely go back.
