Book a hotel near Mansion on the Hill Museum, Ogallala

"Walking in was like a set from dexter. Everything was plastic sheeting and duct tape. They said they were rentivating. I'm like cool. Then I check into room 225. After the clerk had to make a call after 9p.m to see if the room was clean. I walk in after a 6 hour drive. It smelled stale, the TV did not work. Then in the bathroom there was a used washcloth across the spout of the bathtub. Then I turn around to find candy and a toe nail on the floor. I instantly go check out. I was told I would get a full refund. But it's been a week and still nothing. So I write this review. You get what you pay for."

"The lobby way plastic sheeting all around like I was in a dexter episode. They said they were renovating. Sounds great but the Frog t desk had to make a call to see if my room was clean. So I checked into room 225 it smelled stale. The bath room had a dirty wash cloth over the bathtub spout. The TV did not work and beside the bed was trash, candy and a toe nail. I have pictures. I instantly checked out. I was told I'm getting a full refund.bi waited one week before writing this review. Still no refund. Stay away from this place. "

"The room was clean and the breakfast room was clean and organized. I would stay here again. "

"Our room had an odor in the bathroom. The vent fan was on and the window open. It seemed to dissipate somewhat, and we were tired and just wanted to get some rest. Later on my wife went to use the sink and discovered some really gross stuff in the drain. The ice bucket was missing, but the lid was there. In the morning we discovered some mouse droppings by the door. We decided the previous guest must have had a dog because there was matted hair around. Either the dog or guest must have gotten sick and used the missing ice bucket as a barf bucket. Probably resulted in the foul order gross stuff in the drain. Bottom line we will NEVER stay at this place again. "
