"Nice spa, handy for train station but beware, use the hotel shuttle/ transfer and not a taxi. We weren't aware of the possibility of collection from the station so got a taxi and were charged 36CHF for a 3 minute journey! "It was my husband and I that checked in. Youth Hostel provides very basic needs: 2 bath towels, 1 bath mat, 5 hangers. Good only for short stays. The place was clean and staff was very helpful and informative. Location was excellent with public bus making a stop right in front of the hotel. Walkable enough to the downtown proper."

"We had an amazing experience at this hotel - most of the staff was over the top friendly and helpful. The place is in a location you have to experience, right on the lake. The room we had was more spacious than anything we had on our 10 day holiday. It’s a short walk to the train station, right on the lake and was a highlight of our trip."

"Very disappointing experience. The staff were rude and unwelcoming, especially if you weren’t a local. Customer service was far below what I would expect from a hospitality business. The hotel was filled with construction workers, which made it feel more like a worksite than a vacation destination. There was none of the calm, relaxing, or luxurious atmosphere that was advertised. The room itself was not clean. The bed had an unpleasant smell, and the carpet was extremely dirty. The elevator was also incredibly small—barely large enough for two people with luggage—which made moving around the hotel inconvenient. Overall, this hotel did not meet my expectations, and I would not stay here again."
