Excellent apartment in Madrid
The apartment was everything you need for a vacation stay. It’s in a residential/business neighborhood. We felt very safe there. It was a short walk to two different metro lines. The apartment is outside the historic/museum area but the metro is easy to navigate and only a few minutes to those areas. A fantastic grocery store is across the street. The balcony is great!
Very small drawback is no regular oven (there is a microwave) and only two-burner stove top. We made it work but even a toaster oven would be nice for heating up pastries and other breads, etc. I think most people aren’t interested in cooking on vacation like we are so won’t be a detriment to most.
Beds were great, furniture comfortable. Two bathrooms with good showers. Smart tv so you can sign in to Netflix, etc to watch your favorite shows.
We really enjoyed our stay and it was very nice to come back to the apartment after a long day exploring Madrid and surrounding area.
