Lady on reception amazing. Very friendly. Room superbly clean. Only down side is you face inwards looking at the other rooms but it doesn’t matter much. Breakfast was nice although 25 euros may be a bit expensive. Situation brilliant. In old town easy walking everywhere

Amazing, recently renovated room with a beautiful view of Riga Old Town and very friendly staff. Breakfast could be improved - it felt disorganized, with queues for coffee, empty food trays and a limited selection. Also, additional parking charges weren’t clearly communicated.

"Great location, has gym, in room fridge, quiet, good breakfast, just a couple minor problems. There are a couple of night lights towards the head of the bed which appeared to have no switches to turn off. Had to unscrew the bulbs. And the bathroom had a foot light which also could not be turned off, I had to tape a cover over it. I don't know why this hotel doesn't want you to sleep in pitch dark. The blackout curtains are not pure blackout either and lighten up with a haze in the morning. The carpet in the room is a solid dark brown so every speck of lint and dust is magnified - I don't know if the room is dirtier than any other hotel but it sure looks like it because of the dark carpet. Climate control was weird - cannot set the temp, only +/-, limited to "+3" for heat, so it doesn't maintain a temp and by early morning it's colder than it was in the evening. Fully enclosed shower is good."
