The room was a decent place to get off the road for the night. A comfortable bed, but the 'bedding' was just a thin layer of a sheet, not an actual blanket. The room was clean, sparsely appointed - no fridge, small towels, but a working TV and some basic toiletries and a shower. It was functional. Free breakfast isn't available there, but rather at a nearby Ramada, which doesn't work well for travelers wanting to get back on the highway.

Upon check-in, I could not understand one word spoken by the front desk attendant. Walking to the room, the ground was covered by cigarette butts and other trash. Old appliances were just stacked in the walkway, very unsightly. The window curtain had fallen down and was on the floor in my room. Fortunately I was able to re-secure it. Upon doing so, found a pile of dead bugs on the floor that was under the current. Who knows how long it was that way. Shower stall appeared to be recently updated, however there was no shelf or means to store toiletries. The bed was clean and fairly comfortable. Would not stay here again.

When I arrived I was told my reservation had been canceled so I had to pay 50 percent more for a room. I called Expedia to get a refund on what I had already paid. Expedia said they didnt cancel the room so it was the either the travelodge corporate or the actual hotel. Besides that, the room was clean and modern however it smelled of smoke (fortunately I had perfume in my car) and it was so loud with the highway traffic driving by.

This was the worst hotel experience I have had. I went to the Travellodge and there was a posting on the closed entry to call. I called and was told to go to the Ramada and it would be honored. Ramada was run down. Door lock did not work.
