Did not feel safe in the hotel, even in my room. A lot of shady characters all around, inside and out of the hotel. Needs updating

We stayed one night on our way to Florida with our two puppies. The hotel and room were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. We didn't have breakfast, but we did have coffee, and it looked like a nice spread. I would definitely stay there again.

Such small bathroom, I had to step into the shower in order my husband to brush his teeth, and he had to step out mid shaving for me to step out of the shower. Toilet is so low my knees were up at my chin. Room size is not bad but crowded around the bed, I don’t know why they couldn’t move that cabinet to the other wall where there is so much space , move the tv in the middle, we were watching tv sideways. The faucet was loose, the A/C was blowing 69 no matter what temperature I set and turned off at 74 setting only fan blowing get the room muggy. I was cold both nights or hot as hell , had runny nose. Breakfast was not good at all, no OJ the second morning, no bacon only sausage, no bagel, the waffle was the only good thing. Not recommended at all. I should have gone to Best Wstern again like before I just don’t like the room opening on lot the street like a motel, I like a hallway I feel more safe. But I regretted my decision.

The place was extremely unpleasant. Soon we walked in the smoke smell was extreme, walked in the room it smells like old wet rotten furniture. The couch in there dirty and stinky smell. Bed sheets were torn out. I can’t believe the price I paid for this in such quality. I was not able to breathe well, the amount of dust and debris that was under the bed, unbelievable. It was late night and with children I had no choice sprayed my some of my body spray perfumes, the smell was still strong I called the front desk they do nothing. I couldn’t wait till the next morning to leave this place without of eating anything they offered. Who would eat in such dirty place? I took pictures of course. Never again!
