Overall the property was nice. A good continental breakfast. Seemingly clean and kept up well. AC seemed a little weak but not a big issue. My problem was with the last day of my stay. While at the Street Rod Nationals I received a call from my wife that something bit her. Upon pulling the sheets back she found a tiny brown bug. I notified the front desk and was told they never had that problem before and she would notify management. An hour or so later and we decided to leave and cut our trip short. Front desk said they had called Pest control and they would get back with me. She said since it was 5:30 pm, it was too late for a refund. I would have been satisfied with another room, but no offer. I notified the front desk that the bug was on a napkin on the nightstand by the desk. Two days later management called and said Pest control could not find anything. As I relayed to the management an issue like this could happen even to a five star hotel. It is how you handle these situations that matter. I was very disappointed in the way this was handled, therefore unless changes are made in the management of this hotel, I could not recommend it.
