I really enjoyed my room. It was easy enough to get here from LAX and is in a nice area that has improved a lot over the years with a Starbucks across the street and nearby shopping. The windows in my room, both front and back opened, allowing fresh temperate air to enter the room. Pride of ownership is very apparent by the way the owners keep this property. This motel is a great value.

The place is cute with a nice garden outside the check in. But the first red flag was that the key was held together with tape—it did not work and the person at the front desk gave me a new one when I returned to let them know of the problem. The room was nice but the refrigerator had a freezer that had a four inch thick layer of dirty ice from not being defrosted in a very long time.

It was pretty basic. I needed it for a night and it served it's purpose. Bathroom had a standing shower with no step so when u shower, the water goes LITERALLY everywhere in the bathroom. Not a very good design. People could slip easily.

Out of all the low cost ends and motels I have stayed at in Los Angeles, this one was the worst. The room was barely big enough to hold the bed. The colors and patterns were awful and mismatched. The sheets actually had stains. Yes, this place was about $20 less than the others. Do yourself a favor, pony up the extra dough. This place is kind of dark and scary.
