way to crowded parking area. for a small hotel there was nowhere for me to park. the room was not cleaned, used towels on the bathroom floor, unmade bed and thr entry door looked unsafe.
got our money back and went elsewhere.

The rooms were pretty old and worn down. You can see all the furniture had chips in it, the paint was coming off the walls and the doors had dents in them. My first room, when I opened the toilet, had a large june bug drowned inside it--so I tried to flush it down, but then the water overflowed. I immediately asked for a different room, which they were easy about making the switch. Second room was also a bit worn down but at least all the facilities worked. There was however a strong perfume scent that never went away even though I had the air going all night. I was too tired to do anything at that point so I put up with it. The good thing is that at least all my linens and bedding seemed clean and laundered. That was probably the only saving grace, otherwise I would not have stayed.

Run down and surrounding area seemed sketchy. I chose this location based off of Travelocity reviews and take the reviews seriously. I will no longer do so. I am extremely disappointed in the discrepancy between the reviews and the actual place. The front desk clerk was very nice though.

The motel is centrally located near grocery stores and restaurants and at an about ten-minute drive from the ocean, a lighthouse, and beaches. The area seems safe and walkable, and the park across the street is large and fun for kids to explore. There are a coffee maker with coffee and tea and a fridge in the motel rooms, and daily the towels were changed and soaps and shampoo replenished. The staff were friendly. Overall, the motel offered us a relaxing, quiet, and comfortable experience.
