We loved the comfortable bed, pillows, sheets, good water pressure in the shower. We were down at the end, upstairs with a lovely view of the water. It was so peaceful and quiet. The food was good - we had the breakfast included with the room. There were many choices to choose from and food was fresh, excellent. We will definitely stay at the Oasis every time we are in Loreto. Thank you Oasis!
The hotel stinks of sewers, very noisy, (say no to any room near the bar) and outrageous pricing for sterile room no fridge average everything. Went to kitchen at 7 for some coffee and was charged $2 each for a 8 oz styro cup of watered down coffee. Breakfast quesadelia was was basicly a fried egg in a tortilla for $12. Advertised on web site "free shuttle" but said no free shuttle when called, only $24 per person, haha. Taxi charge is also outrageous $22 for a 3 mile ride in and $15 out. I've rented cars there however and felt the sting of the bait and switch disguised a insurance charges. I have been to Loreto many times and will never stay at the Mission again.

Front desk: Grumpy, aloof, tried to charge for a 90 minute late check out.Really feels the job is beneath her. Gives you zero information and its like pulling teeth to get her to answer inquiries. Sports equipment supposedly included: Only for 1 hour and closes at 5:00 PM. Manager says he doesn't have the key. ( stays hot and light very late in Baja so forget late afternoon evening activity ) Food beyond abysmal ( breakfast ) and very limited with most ingredients not available ( dinner ) and super small portions. Trying to be high end for dinner and they should stick to seafood and Mexican entrees. Breakfast buffet ( awesome when available )but not available when they are under capacity ( 5 rooms when we were there) and breakfast staff grumpy and non communicative. They HATE if you bought the breakfast inclusive package and give you portions for a toddler. Pool area filthy with used plates, food, cups, everywhere and staff sitting around. Sports equipment guy on beach sat on phone & did nothing. Worst this place has ever been. Maid staff are awesome, friendly and helpful. Tip them big. The rest of the staff needs training and if they want to keep you there for food they need some serious overhauling.
