Cheap and not so cheerful

It was fairly inconspicuous as no door number but we worked it out. It’s been poorly converted tbh. The stairs are steep and have differing sizes which makes it easy to misstep. The area is very cramped but everting is there. The biggest thing I believe would improve it is to actually spend a small amount of time and money on refreshing the paintwork and walls. It just looked grimy and unloved and made the finish look really poor. I appreciate you can do little regarding the unrelenting noise from the street unless you put in double glazing.
