Wandering in Scottish Highlands? If you're looking to get a feel of the city, reserve places to base your trip which are just a short drive from the main part of Loch Ness. Within an easy driving distance from the city center, travelers will find 8 modern hotels.

The The Craigdarroch Inn is considered one of most ideally situated options, one of the limited options within an easy stroll of the Loch Ness downtown precinct.

The Caledonian Cottage is a budget-conscious hotel. You'll find it located 11 miles (18 kilometers) from the middle of Loch Ness. An alternative budget option in Loch Ness is the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel.

The Loch Ness Country House Hotel is around 15 miles (25 kilometers) outside the town center of Loch Ness. Another alternative is the The Lovat, Loch Ness, which can be found about 11 miles (18 kilometers) away.
