We received a friendly welcome on arrival and our room was spacious, very clean and styled in a contemporary way. The bathroom fittings were new and had very good lighting. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Very clean room, great staff (friendly & helpful to the max, nice amenities. The Balcary has great ambience. So very happy to have stayed here. Have to point out the nice breakfast service. Wonderful!!!

"The hotel was lovely, huge bathroom. Way too quiet for us though. Breakfast was over cooked, eggs on my wife’s eggs benedict were nearly hard boiled, bacon was tough. Very steep stairs down to breakfast room. The bar was closed most of the day, with a bell for service. We tried it but no one came.
The staff were lovely, but just not enough of them, and same ones we’re doing everything. With the size of the hotel, this was an impossible task. We ended up spending most of ur time at the hotel opposite."
