"The shower was not hot and it came out rustic and smelly. Breakfast was good and sufficient. Parking was plentiful. The hotel is tired, needs a bit of revamp, more cheerfulness. We found it dark and dingy."

"Tiny tiny room up in the roof. Not very well planned out but really clean. No hot water in both sink and shower and when I asked I was told, it’s a long way up it takes time… run the taps and shower for 15 mins to get hot water ! Such a waste of water. One small electric heater."

"We stayed here before and it was great. This time it was very hot in the room. But I suppose that many hotels struggled with that. What was really disappointing was breakfast . No croissants by 8.30, very limited choice of other food, left hungry. No fruit either. parking good and easy."

"We had a few problems on arrival as the road to the hotel had been temporarily closed. The lady on reception was extremely helpful and helped us to negotiate a different route. Our room was a double when we had booked a twin but that was also quickly resolved and we were given a very nice room with two double beds. The facilities in the room were perfect and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. On Sunday, there was a market directly outside the hotel, which we enjoyed wandering through. It is a lovely town in a beautiful area. The staff were so kind and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
