Hotel Müller Hohenschwangau
"Perfect location, right by the Neuschwanstein bus and carriage stops and the path up to Hohenschwangau castle, and a very short walk to the lake. Lovely restaurant - we booked a table through reception and had a table looking up at the castle. Our room was very quiet. The only slight downside was ..."

Hotel Rheinischer Hof
"The room was fine. However, in August 2026, it will be warm. Therefore, we had to open the door to the balcony. This meant that we had an endless cloud of smoke entering our room from guests who smoked cigarettes on their balconies. And the road noise due to being next to a main road was quite intolerable ..."

Wittelsbacher Hof Swiss Quality Hotel
"If you're a frequent traveler in Europe, you will know the vibe. It's been awhile since they've done any remodeling so it feels like a bit of a throwback, but hey it's nice not to stay in some overly tricked out boutique hotel. The back courtyard is really lovely and a great place to have breakfast ..."

aja Garmisch-Partenkirchen
"In short: hotel was amazing, room was so-so. Pool area was better than expected and some good amenities for kids. Good breakfast and the coffee break is a nice perk. The room was about 30°C which made it very difficult to sleep. Was also small and no mini fridge makes traveling a little harder. Didn't want to spend much time in our room, so obviously we survived. But just being honest."
