Great hotel overall. Loved the location, property, facilities/amenities, room and continental breakfast. Staff were excellent too! Just wish our shower was larger - so small in comparison to room size and when compared with other rooms we saw.

Beautiful Hotel in a Beautiful Town

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. It was nice to have a patio and a view of the mountains while eating a delicious breakfast. They were able to book our Zugspitze tickets which was helpful as the website was confusing. We were lucky to have a beautiful day. They said to wait and see if you can see the mountains in the morning, and if you can then come to the front desk and they'll book your tickets. Make sure you give yourself the whole day. It is amazing and quite an adventure!

Since the weather was terrible for most of my stay, it was nice to have the pool, sauna, and exercise facilities. The breakfast was also much better, with greater variety than I usually find

The hotel is in a wonderful location for pretty well everything including the train station to zugspitze and the ski jumping, the old town and local area as well as wonderful walks in the mountains. The hotel serves lovely breakfast and the restaurant staff were friendly . Sadly I felt the staff on reception and doing the rooms seemed unhappy or at least they didn’t engage openly with hotel patrons unlike other hotels we stayed in on this trip. I was initially asked for feedback on checkin by Expedia and i gave it a middle score because when we arrived we were told we could not eat in the restaurant for that day or the next because of new year - no smiles no welcome - and when we got to the room there was a toilet brush down the toilet and what seemed like incomplete room finishing . Because of this feedback Expedia must have sent it straight to the hotel with our room number as they asked me about it and apologised kindly leaving a note and Prosecco in our room which was lovely. We had the most beautiful view of the mountains from our room balcony which was a big plus. They were very busy over new year and perhaps this is why staff seemed less welcoming in the main areas of the hotel on frequent occasions the staff would get in the lifts to get around the hotel while guests were waiting (just a small but effective lift) - including who I assumed was the manager . Our room was frequently short of various basics like tissues, toilet rolls, bath mats - must be new year!

A good property which is conveniently located between town centre and ski slope access. Rooms are spacious though bathrooms could do with more space and stronger air ventilators, breakfast is fine. Staff experience is varied and could swing from warm to cold. Overall at the right price it’s a good option, else may feel overvalued.

Great hotel

Great location for seeing area attractions. Also nice local restaurants with easy walking distance. The service and staff were excellent. I really enjoyed the morning breakfast that is complementary. They even had gluten free bread to accommodate my gluten allergy.
