Excessive noise from floor above us. Made complaint to front desk but noise continued on until midnight because of the holiday. We would have been unable to move because I stated weeks before I would have an elderly on a travel dialysis machine.

The rooms are always clean and clean smelling which can be hard to find these days. Breakfast is great with a nice selection of different style of egg and meat every morning with biscuits and gravy and waffles a daily staple.

The lady when we tried to come in said you have to use your card, um well we haven’t even checked in. Then I go outside cause I forgot my Id and she says the same thing when I come back to the door like she forgot I went to get my ID so I could check in. Then I order door dash to see her park in front of door under awning and go to her car and set there and smoke a blunt. What a joke of a stay and she was not friendly in the least.

Bugs and cigarette smell in 3 rooms and the hall. Walked in and left immediately, we notified the front desk, they went with us to the rooms and documented it (I have pictures of the notes that were written down in their planner/notebook). We were garunteed a refund due to proof and the GM Alan refused to refund us the next day, denying all claims of the cigarette smell but he admitted to the hotel having bugs and stated he had them sprayed the following day, therefore he was not liable for refunding us. Horrible customer service and lack of integrity.

The pull out bed was jammed, we got put in a room that was not the one we paid for and they did not refund us or move us to accommodate the booking, they gave us a second standard room and said that was aIl they could do - I was not happy. The hotel was nice though and the breakfast was excellent. The night desk staff was awesome, she went above and beyond to find me popcorn!

I had a handicapped accessible room that, I selected by mistake. So, that's on me. The drain in the bathroom looked and smelled of sewage. I reported it and they tried to fix it but it would have had to be torn apart to fix. It was interesting that this was a handicapped room but if you where in a wheelchair you would not have been able to reach, towels, soaps, shampoo, etc. I'm 4'10" and I had some trouble just standing and reaching. I'm bringing this up because since I've started being a full-time caregiver I now notice these things.

This place was clean and appropriate for the money. I love this location in Kansas City. There are several amenities within a 2 mile radius. The room was clean but there were a few cosmetic things that needed repaired or replaced. If you are traveling to KC and need a family friendly, affordable, clean place to stay, this place will be acceptable.
