We specifically booked this hotel for the indoor pool which is closed for renovations and there is only one attended in the building

Great location. Hotel is clean. Rooms are nicely sized with a great layout. I have stayed here before and had a great experience. This time, thought, the room was very noisy with lots of noise from mechanical workings of the building and water running through pipes constantly. Furniture was worn and weary looking. Not the best room.

We had reserved a two bedroom suite but there was apparently a plumbing issue. However, they gave us two one-bedroom suites that were interconnected. The breakfast was fairly good with a nice selection. We used the indoor pool and had fun there. Both rooms were clean and well-stocked with dishes, etc.

5 STARS for Homewood Suites by Hilton Columia/Laur

Pros: EVERYTHING! Kind, caring helpful staff 24 hours! This was exceptional in every way!! We liked having a 5 STAR experience but not at a 5 star price!
Cons: Maybe a couple more baggage carts. But not a big deal at all,
Location: Everything was great! Some good places to eat close by and the area was nice!
From the time I called and made our reservations with Krystal until the time we checked out, our experience with Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbia/Laurel was a 5 STAR experience!! Krystal went above and beyond any customer service experience I had ever encountered! I don't have words for how wonderful Krystal was when booking our stay, she was kind, understanding, courteous and made sure that I had all the accommodations needed for a successful and safe stay at Homewood Suites, while providing the best rate possible! She made certain I knew that me and my families needs were most important as she made our reservation! This hotel is exceptionally in every way! It was extremely clean inside and out and very well maintained! The rooms were exceptional, very spacious and comfortable with fully equipped kitchens! EVERY Staff member at this location were absolutely wonderful the entire 7 days we were there! The complementary breakfast served in the mornings was outstanding! The quality of the food and service was that of a 5 STAR hotel! The daily house keeping staff were also phenomenal! THANK YOU to ALL staff at Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbia/Laurel for an incredible week! It was was a 5 STAR experience but not at a 5 star price! We recommend this hotel to all family, friends and those of you that are looking for an honest review! This was our first trip to MD but not our last, when we return we will call Homewood Suites by Hilton Columia/Laurel home while in town!

Lovely homelike suite

Our only negative comment is that there was a family with children who were really noisy across the hall-- but we just put the "Shhh" hang tag on the door and I think it helped. Otherwise, this accommodation was perfect. Very nice room with separate living/kitchen area, great TVs, wonderful hot breakfast and dining room. We will always be on the lookout for Homewood Suites after this excellent experience.
