The Lancaster Arts Hotel was well maintained and in a great location. Staff was friendly and the room was clean, however, the chairs in the room were ripped and worn down. The linens were clean and the bed was comfortable. There was ample parking, which was included in the hotel price. I would skip the complementary breakfast and enjoy one of the many cafes located downtown. There is a nice walking path behind the hotel that leads to a park and downtown, about a 15 min walk. My only complaint would be that the walls seemed to be a bit thin. We could hear people in their room at night/their shower in the morning, as well as the housekeeping staff access the utility closet just outside of our room. If you are a light sleeper I would request a room away from the elevator and staff spaces.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was great. I didn’t like that the bathroom fan came on with the light in the bathroom and that there were windows in the bathroom door. It meant that I couldn’t shower until my husband got up otherwise the light And the noise would wake him up. Other than that it was perfect!

I was most impressed with the bathtub, having the proper grab bars and non slip tub was so great! The cleanliness was top notch and staff do pleasant! The free breakfast was fine but I do recommend Rachel’s cafe for awesome crepes!
