Laurel Lake Placid
"I had a great stay at Laurel Lake Placid. I had a lovely room with a great view of the lake. The room was updated. It was clean and spacious. The only thing I can say the would be better would be more hangers and storage as there wasn’t a dresser or true closet. There was a closet bar and some shelving . Could just be my OCD, but I like things out of site. The bed was so comfy. It was quiet. You do have to go down for your coffee but I can live with that. They have nice common areas. The bar area is great and the bartender was lovely to chat with. The desk staff was friendly and very helpful. In fact , I left a bag behind and received a call from the desk within an hour of my leaving so I could easily return for it. The hotel parking is tight. But everything in town is within walking distance . I highly recommend."

High Peaks Resort
"Beautiful location, however a tired property in need of a facelift. Accessing the waterfront amenities is also not the most convenient set up."
