After trying to cancel the reservation and was told no you would be charged then when they arrived they were told room was already taken and was given a room beside the ice machine with no remote control, no shampoo or anything was obvious that they didn’t plan on renting that room and were put there because nothing else was available

I had made two reservations on Jan 27, 2025. Expedia Itinerary: 73018556997235 and Expedia itinerary: 73018564564080. When I went to check in, they told me I had no reservation because Super 8 was bought by Red Roof Inn, but they didn't let me know, and they didn't honor my booking. So I had to pay twice as much at another place.

I will never stay here again

The building is under renovation so there were boxes of supplies at the entry doors. The building was not secure, anyone could have walked in the side doors. our room was not very clean there were holes in the window shades and the noise from people walking about was very loud. The bathroom sink was not clean and the water constantly dripped at the sink. The refrigerator did not get very cold. Upon arrival there was no remote for the TV in the room so I had to go to the front desk and ask for one. Two different employees tried to program the remote but could not figure it out so my friend and I had no television for the evening. The vending machine was out of order so we could not get drinks.

First the GPS to this hotel took me 17 minutes past the hotel , then was told I didn’t have a reservation until I pulled up my receipt on Expedia. Third the toilet in my room did not flush until I plunged it the following morning

The only thing good in this location was the staff. The place was so dirty and smelled pretty bad. On top of that it seemed like it was a hourly motel and a trap house.

Sheets were dirty, shower curtains dirty, floor was not swept. Asked for a change of sheets they never did it claimed housekeeping was done for the day and at night my husband asked for clean sheets again and they handed them to him to change them ourselves.

We called and spoke with staff saying we would be checking in later the assured use that was ok. We got there and they had given our room away and the only room they had was one without AC and initially they weren't going to give it to me until | got angry.

We checked in, and moved our car closer to the direction they said our room was in. When we parked we were in front of a broken window taped together, and there was a woman screaming and cursing outside of the entrance. That area with the broken window ended up being our room. In addition to that, the room was dirty. We only needed the room for one night but left immediately. It felt unsafe and definitely didn’t give clean and cozy vibes. Lesson learned - Do yourself a favor and spend a little more to get something clean in a better environment.

This is the last time I will stay in a Red Roof Inn. The property was in a parking lot next to a Taco Bell. The general areas were dirty. It looked like the stairs and hallways hadn't seen a vacuum in weeks. The doors to the rooms were scratched and while the bedding looked clean, there was a funky, moldy smell in the room. Additionally, the bathroom was not particularly clean, the towel bars came off the walls, and the floors were cracked.
