"This is the only hotel I stay in when visiting Dunkirk. The property is old, but kept clean and maintained well. The rooms are large and views of Lake Erie are a nice amenity. "Great bed great pool staff very friendly and helpful. Quiet. We were right beside the ice machine as we wanted to be near the elevator and we never once heard the ice being dispensed. The curved sofa was great as my spouse is unable to sleep flat. There was extra sheets etc which we used to cover the sofa. The room was very large liked the extra space. The hotel is being remodeled and the heating system does need some help as it is a little distracting at night all in all in spite of construction it was still a pleasant stay. We were in Erie for several days of Drs appt and it happened to be our 60th wedding anniversary and the cute little gal at checkin wanted to send up a bottle of vine but we declined so at our doorstep was 2 bottles of water and 2 candybars and a sweet little handwritten anniversary note. We will definitely stay here again if we need to .thx"
