Glass in front of desk made it hard to hear attendant. I was placed on 2nd floor at other end of entrance. Elevator out of order. Very HOT hallway. Entered room and opened cabinet door and it nearly fell on my foot-not attached! Kitchenette but no pots /pans. Who carries pots and pans with them. Rooms near me noisy. The bed was nice and cold air-conditioning

NOPE!! Hard pass

Upon check-in, I was told that the elevator was out, no biggie, right? WRONG!! The interior staircase area was filthy with debris, food and bugs. When I got to the room, there weren't any toiletries in the bathroom, I went back down to get some and to get some ice and I was coming back to my room, I was "gawked" at by 2 guests, who came out of their room, stood in the doorway to wave & watch me walk into my room. It was a very uncomfortable feeling so I went downstairs and checked out. I have no idea how this place got decent reviews. The area is rundown and sits behind an abandoned IHOP and a chain link fence around the field. The ladies at the front desk very understanding. That was the only good thing I could say about the place.

The room was clean and the price was reasonable. Downhill from there. The elevator does not work and nobody told us until we had checked in. Husband (68)has a hard time walking up and down stairs and has a bad limp because of back problems. I just had hernia surgery a few weeks ago and cannot lift things. Unfortunately, husband had to carry everything up and down the stairs. There is no-one there to help. No toiletries or kleenex in the room. So be sure to ask for them before you go to take a shower. Site says cookware, dinnerware & silverware included. Front desk said it cost an extra $25. The bed and pillows are very very firm. If you stay 2 days they do not refresh your room, which is fine unless you need more towels or toilet paper, which would also be fine if they told you that up front, so your prepared. There is a small coffee maker and they provide 2 packets of coffee. I suggest you take your own. There is no coffee provided in the lobby. The sheets were thin and very wrinkled. Covers had cigarette burns and curtains had holes in them. The electrical outlet for the coffee maker had some clear plastic?? or something in the plug holes and could not be used. Had to move the coffee maker to the table. The hallway and stairwell carpets could use some cleaning. I am thankful the room was clean, although a little worn in some areas and smelled good. Clean room and good price but think I will pay an extra $10-15 per night next for a place without the issues and has breakfast.

The elevator wasn’t working due to a storm that came in a few weeks ago. So we had to take the stairs to the room, which is OK, but the carpet othe stairwell had dirt on it.

Knocking and entering

Everything was pretty good. The sign in the room said no service on Saturday and Sunday, but noticed new towels in the room. I reuse my towels so left a few things out since it said no service for rooms. There was not a do not disturb sign in the room. I don't like anyone in my room unless i prepare for it. And the at 3am sunday the staff was banging on the door next to mine and woke me up then again at 4am. I had a 5 hr drive and this was the biggest issue for the stay.

I didn’t like the dude I saw sitting out on the bench outside the front door. He sat there for hours vaping and then checking me out to see what I was wearing. What kind of car I was driving. I left between 5 and 6 AM. I came back three hours later and he hadn’t moved

Although it was a Very comfortable, neat and clean place, we found it to be alittle in uncomfortable with Noisy neighbors across the hall. It seems as if they were arguing and talking very loudly. It's hard to know what to do in that situation. Fortunately it was on our last night there. Also , as being Seniors we feel that all Hotels should have some type of Safety bar in the tub area and even by the toilet for safety. Not even a grip matt on the tub for possible slipping accidents. I do appreciate the attendates help in answering questions and being pleasant.
