The Chateau at Lake La Quinta
"We had a wonderful stay at the Château Hotel at Lake La Quinta. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with smiling faces and such a warm welcome. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and every detail made the atmosphere feel elegant and inviting. The bedding was extremely comfortable, everything was very clean, and our view of the lake was absolutely amazing. We also enjoyed the food and had some great conversations with the bartenders. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I really wanted to give five stars, but there was one issue that I hope the hotel will address. The bedroom curtains are sheer, and because there are homes directly across the lake with windows facing the hotel rooms, people can see into the room, especially in the evening when the lights are on. This made it uncomfortable to get dressed in the bedroom, so we had to use the bathroom instead. I would highly recommend adding blackout curtains or heavier privacy drapes to the bedrooms. Other than that, our stay was fabulous, and we truly enjoyed our time there. We would definitely recommend the Château Hotel and hope to return soon—especially if blackout curtains are added!"
