The location was a little hidden but can be found easily. Close to Kyoto station, about a 5-10 minute walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Amazing little hotel close to Kyoto station. Very nice rooms and great service. It’s a nice mix of modern luxuries with some traditional features. Not an issue for us but we didn’t know about the accommodation tax that we had to pay when we checked in. It wasn’t a lot and it goes to keeping the city maintenance but we didn’t know about it till we got there.

The room was tastefully decorated with Japanase style. It hand a room for tea, that at night transformed into a place to sleep with tatamis. The bathroom and shower area were among the best in Japan.
