Perfect location just at the entrance of Gion. Super convenient to walk to sight seeing or take public transportation to anywhere. The room is clean and adequate for two people, and the front desk staff are all friendly and helpful.

Hôtel bien situé

Emplacement parfait! Nous avions réservé 2 chambres connectées avec mes enfants et l'espace était très bien. Les chambres sont propres mais pas très bien entretenues (on y trouve parfois de petites taches sur les murs ou têtes de lits qui ne partent pas car nous avons fait le test de nettoyer). Beaucoup de variété au petit-déjeuner (surtout japonais) mais ce n’est pas très chaud. À refaire je choisirais encore cet hôtel pour son emplacement. Le personnel est très gentil.

The hotel is the heart of Gion area. Close to all the traditional Japanese houses. Also, walk-able to the hip area of Gion. There is a famous temple and a shrine within 5 min walk of the hotel which was a special treat for me. However, it is far from Kyoto station, 40 mins walk and a 7-10 min local train ride. The walk is safe and you get to see the city. The staff members were kind and accommodating. Though many members were in their training but were going a great job. They did every best to communicate with various languages and requests from the guests. The only suggestion would be to add lotion along with rest of the toiletries. Thank you!
