Room - very basic room with laundry (great), toilet and mini kitchen. Ad pictures looked bigger than actual room size. Room was clean but no cleaning staff during our 4 night stay. Hotel was very clean and modern, great soaps and lotions in the room. Very close to the Castle, a very short walk. not a lot of dinner options in the area, but a 7-11 across the street. A bit far from the center of the action

Grandvrio Hotel Tamba Sasayama
部屋が少し臭かったです。男性の匂いがしました。ベッドと椅子が低すぎます。棚も低くて、物を置いたり立ったままバッグの整理ができないです。部屋の入り口で靴を脱がなければならない部屋だったので、めんどくさかったです。 朝食はとても美味しいです。フロントやレストランのスタッフも親切です。

Ryokan Yamazaki
Very clean room including the bathroom and shower considering it is shared. The staff was very nice and accommodating towards us even as foreigners. Staying at a ryokan is a bit of a culture shock but after the first night it you warm up to it and get a great experience. Food was also delicious.
