You can tell it is an older property, but it was fine. The casino was under construction for the “land” casino, but again it was fine.

Not a very welcoming experience. Hotel and casino outdated. I was in a non-smoking room but smelled like it had been smoked in for years.

The resort fee is listed under "Fees" on Travelocity's website. That resort fee covers unlimited devices on the in-room wifi, access to our fitness and business centers, satellite television, and free local and long distance calls from the room phone.

The hotel was very nice. Should not be attaché to such a dirty casino. Casino desperately needs to have a major cleaning and I update. Because of the casino will not stay there again. Limited and not so nice eating places.

Very nice hotel! Our 2nd stay with Horseshoe. The staff is very accommodating and works to please. We had a light out in our room and the shower did now work properly. They sent someone right away to repair. The only downside is (and this is probably me as I have a severe arthritic spine) the mattresses are old, roll into the center and are lumpy. I has slept on worse at other hotels though. This is a very upscale hotel and not far at all from Churchill Downs or downtown Louisville. Beautiful views of the river and hills in the fall. The food is excellent, room service was on time and service was prompt. I recommend everyone treat themselves to the hospitality of the Horseshoe Casino in Elizabeth, IN.

Room was neat, clean and lots of room. Housekeeping service was great. Good materials in the room about area. Bed was very comfortable. Check in was quick and efficient. Did not care for the parking/process of taking luggage into the hotel. I am sure it was fine if you wanted valet, but we just picked up a new truck and didn't want a valet driver.
