Everything worked out fine. The beach was within a short walk and could be seen if you sit on the walkway/balcony. Just remember, the older retro motels may not have elevators if you have knee or back problems.Check in was very pleasant with a sweet young lady making sure everything was explained in a friendly manner. We will stay here again.

This is a great beachside location for the price. The staff was more than welcoming and accommodating as we were later than expected on arrival. The room was clean. The grounds were clean. Perfect spot for a long weekend away with my bestie.

Don't recommend - but bridget is great

Bridget in the wrong was an absolute delight, however - the room was not so. It was very damp, the door lock was very minimal, sheets were full of pilling and felt like a used bath towel. I had my own personal fly swatter (bizarre), phone was filled with dirt, the remote was absolutely filthy and full of gunk. I was going to put a chair under the door knob since the lock was so little, chair was too short to do that - so I felt very uneasy most of the night. This wasn't an issue to Bridget, she was wonderful and kind and great, but the facility itself - not very great. I understand this is a motel AND for almost 200 a night - I wasn't anticipating to be in somewhere so yuck. Dirt in the corners of the room - but bathroom appeared clean other than the shower head. I didn't use it, I slept in my clothes on top of the sheets mostly with my hood up. This isn't somewhere I'd recommend to stay - the reviews were certainly deceiving. I cancelled the second night unfortunately and found another hotel nearby.

Labor Day weekend

The staff was so pleasant and helpful. The motel although older had been updated and was clean. Beds were comfortable. Overall an excellent place to stay!!!

Family oriented and super clean! Restaurant across the street that was easy to walk to. We couldn’t see the ocean from our room, but all you have to do is walk over the sand dune and you’re on the beach

It was a good place to stay my sister and I felt safe staff was friendly and very helpful, the only downside is you could smoke anywhere on property except in your rooms you could even by your doors outside , being we don’t smoke it was a turn off when you walk outside and many are smoking by there doors

Proximity to the beach. Room had an adequate supply of equipment, minus teaspoons. Beds were comfy with 4 good sized pillows. The only downside was there are no net curtains so everyone walking past looked in so we had to keep the curtains closed making it dark. There was a good supply of snacks at reception and coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
