The stay was generally okay, but there was always a “but.” For example: a nice TV, but no signal; Wi-Fi available, but the password didn’t work (and once the staff entered the correct one, the signal was very weak); a pleasant terrace, but overlooking the indoor breakfast patio; a marble bathroom, but with a cheap plastic shampoo dispenser. Breakfast was free, but no espresso was offered, the orange juice jug was constantly empty, and there were no hot options. The one aspect I was truly happy with was the staff—their warm attitude and helpfulness stood out and made the experience much better.

Quiet property within walking distance to Taksim Square and Galata Tower. Room was comfy and staff with the exception of the grumpy man at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. Buffet breakfast was average and this was the only hotel we stayed at in all of Turkey that did not provide bottled water in the room.
