The property was well maintained and cosey. The staff were very friendly. Would return, but be aware that there is a Mosque next door, so you will get an early wake up call!

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Ali, who spoke excellent English, was especially helpful and informative, providing great recommendations that enhanced our visit. The rooms were charming and cozy, with very comfortable beds that ensured a good night's sleep. The location was unbeatable, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay. Great value!

Perfect hotel with exceptional service!

Perfect hotel very close to Galata Tower and other touristy areas but off a quiet side street. Room was very clean and service was exceptional. I had to check in very late in the evening which was no problem. So many cafes and restaurants near the hotel, you are spoiled for options. Very glad that I found this hotel and will start again next time I’m in Istanbul!

When we book this hotel room, we based it on the pictures posted and ads. And it looks nice and affordable. Unfortunately when we arrived to check in, the owner said that the room we booked was located on the basement. And it was different from the room that we booked originally. And he offered us an upgraded room if we pay extra $10. The stairs leading to the rooms is narrow and dark. Not booking this place again.

Great location, near all the shops and very friend staff. Only very small complaint is that you can hear EVERYTHING and the door rattles when another is closed, therefore, sleeping could be difficult if you’re a light sleeper.

Comfortable accommodation by Galata Tower

Such a cute hotel in a great location. Many shops, restaurants and attractions such as Galata tower just mins away on foot. I felt the friendliness and kindness of the staff the moment I checked in. I definitely recommend this pretty hotel if you like to experience İstanbul in a historic neighborhood of Istanbul. It would enhance your experience in istanbul.

I stayed in the 'green' room i believe during my stay? it's the room with a balcony. I found the hotel very clean, tastefully decorated, super friendly staff, and the small welcoming package in the room was a very nice touch. Michel, the hotel owner, was around and as a fellow Canadian he was super helpful during my entire stay with insider tips, advice etc. definitely ask him about the hammam spa he recommends and you will not regret going. The rooftop patio that is open for everyone to use is very nice to just kick back, relax at the end of the day with a glass of wine. the hotel also has a metro card that they can lend you to use during your stay so you don't have to buy your own. the location is very central with a subway and tram station nearby. Although a bit of an uphill from the Galata bridge, but that's what you're going to have to deal with staying in that general area. i took the airport shuttle that cost 18 TL to get to taksim square, and from there it was about a 25 min walk. however, i would recommend just taking a taxi from taksim to the hotel. just make sure you have change otherwise theyll rip you off by saying they don't have change and make sure they turn on the meter.

Clean, safe and in a great location!

This hotel went above and beyond in service. The building was extremely clean. And no trace of smoke! We have struggled to find smoke free accommodations before in Istanbul. This was truly smoke free. We loved the area, just a 2 min walk to Galata tower and all the amazing restaurants and shops. A 5 minute walk to the nearest subway and 7 minutes to the tram that takes you right into the touristic old city. You feel like you’re staying in the hip local area but have easy access to all other Istanbul sites. We will certainly stay here again.
