We selected this 3 star hotel from the internet and couldn't believe how lucky we were. Welcoming staff, excellent large bedroom completely newly refurbished and great views. The menu for breakfast and dinner gave a good choice and was of a higher standard than many 4 star hotels.

The rooms were adorable. The castle view is incredible (not sure if all rooms have the castle view). The food was excellent. The staff was amazing. We stayed at the end of March, so we didn't get to enjoy the patio but it looks great.

Great welcome from Mo who helped with our luggage when showing us to the room. The room was small but ok for a couple of nights. You can walk to the Town centre in about 10 minutes but be prepared for hills and steps! They are everywhere. We didn’t eat an evening meal in the restaurant and the food was fabulous we can definitely recommend. We didn’t see many of the staff but when Mo was on duty he was everywhere, very helpful , very busy and ever so friendly. Thanks Mo
