Lizzie Joy is a peaceful Hill Country glamping retreat at Basecamp Resort in Hunt, Texas. Set among the trees with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding hills, it offers the fun of camping with the comforts of home.

THE TENT:

• Combination A/C and heating unit, plus additional fans and space heaters

• Efficiency-style layout with living and sleeping areas in one spacious room

• Smart TV with Hulu

• Sofa and two chairs with seating for four

• Kitchenette with microwave, sink, small refrigerator/freezer, griddle and Keurig; no stove or oven

• King bed with memory foam mattress and cozy cotton bedding

• Large fully enclosed bathroom with double sinks and tub/shower combination



OUTDOORS:

• Large deck with beautiful lake and Hill Country views

• Attached yard with hot tub, propane fire pit and propane grill

• Fishing lake with kayaks available for guest use

• Bring a fishing pole and bait and explore three additional ponds

• Guadalupe River access across Hwy 39

• Resort pool available for guest use; pool heat is no longer provided

• Walking and hiking trail through the property



RIVER ACCESS:

Guests have access to our Guadalupe River area nearby. Depending on river conditions, you can relax along the bank, swim, wade or simply enjoy the scenery.

Basecamp Resort is located in Hunt, Texas, along scenic Highway 39 in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.



You’ll be close to the Guadalupe River, local camps and Hill Country attractions while still feeling tucked away from town.



PETS:

Lizzie Joy is dog friendly. We welcome up to 2 dogs with a $50 pet fee.



The outdoor area is fenced, but wildlife, especially deer, is common throughout the property, so please supervise your dogs.
