The cyclone knocked out power to Astoria and surrounding communities. The manager, was wonderful and did us a huge favor by putting us in a first floor room with our slightly disabled dog. We had a room on the 4th floor, but with no power, there was no elevator. And our dog could not walk up the four flights of stairs. Jessi was at the front desk, and cool as a cucumber during the emergency. She helped guests, handed out flashlights, and put lights around the hallways and stairwells. Very professional all around. Kudos. As for the rooms... they we're both well appointed, clean, and very quiet. I didn't care that much for the pillows, and would have preferred something more firm, but the mattresses were great. The HVAC units worked flawlessly (except of course when there was no power). Breakfasts were good, though simple. All and all, a great three-night stay, in spite of the cyclone and power outage. We will definitely be coming back.

Although a tad isolated from other business, this hotel is just a short car ride away from downtown Astoria. The walking trail is just outside that also connects to downtown. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Love the cookie and chowder hours and breakfast was perfect.

We stayed in a King Suite with a wet bar. The view was stunning and the room was just lovely. It was a great place to stay! The staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary cookies and chowder were delicious! The hot tub was fantastic. We will be back!

I loved the cozy fireplace in the lobby with seating. Jessi was pleasant and helpful at the front desk. i arrived after 5 and a hot pot of Smoked Salmon Chowder was waiting in the lobby, along with cookies - delicious! The room was comfortable, clean and I loved that they included Sleepytime tea as a Keurig selection in the room! A wonderful stay, I'm just sorry I didn't come prepared for the sauna!
