Our two nights stay was ok except going to breakfast shortly after 7. That gave us only egg as the only hot breakfast item choice. Second day morning breakfast was much better knowing to go earlier.

We had a great stay. Clean room, friendly staff, there’s a heated pool, and a yummy breakfast. My family would definitely stay here again. My only complaint (which is no fault of the hotel) is we were on the first floor, and the people above us on the second floor were really loud and stomped around late into the night. If we ever travel through town and need to book here again, will be requesting a room on the 2nd floor.

Rooms and beds were clean. Key card access to rooms and all outside doors. Parking lot is on the smaller side. Kind of difficult if you have a bigger vehicle, but it is manageable.

We didn't get to stay at this place and lost money! We arrived to find out the booking date was wrong, 5/11-12 instead of 5/12-13. The front desk staff refused to change the date. We asked for her manager, she said no and said she already talked to her. We called Choice Hotel customer services, who called her and she still won't change. The hotel has a policy of no cancellation but we didn't cancel. We asked for change! Choice Hotel services felt very bad for us and told us it is totally up to the hotel. The front desk was so rude. For the whole time, we tried to nicely explain our situation and she never showed any sympathy. Not only that, she refuses our rebooking so we have to find another place to stay. It was an horrible experience. This is a dishonest steal, avoid this place!!!

This is our favorite place to stay when in the area. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. Breakfast is mediocre as with most mid price hotels but enough to get you going in the morning. The only downside is that the beds are hard as rocks; uncomfortable to us, but that’s a personal preference. Plenty of fast food nearby, but if you’re looking for good food, check out Gills By The Bay in King Salmon!
