"We had the most incredible weekend at this charming riverfront cottage on Chute Pond! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting, cozy decor, and thoughtful touches throughout the home. The cottage was spotless, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun-filled stay.Waking up to the serene river views was magical, and we loved enjoying our morning coffee as the sun rose and wildlife roamed the water. The setting was peaceful and scenic, with the river just steps from the door. Inside, the space was warm and inviting, with plenty of room for us to unwind.Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or an adventure-filled escape, this place truly has it all. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we felt right at home. We’re already planning our next visit—this cottage is a true gem!"

"My parents and I planned a UTV trip in the area and wanted a spot for a home base for 3 nights. We found this great spot, and couldn’t have been happier with the stay. We were able to park the trailer, 2 UTVs, and truck just fine, and the trail head is literally right down the street to connect you to main trails in the area! The lower level setup gives you the north woods cabin experience and is a very nice setup. Beautiful garden and lakeview right out back. Definitely would recommend this spot, Vernice was great to talk to and made the check in super easy and showed us the place when we got there. If you need a nice, quiet, and relaxing place to stay in the area, check this one out for your trip. Thanks for the awesome stay, we enjoyed our trip a lot and having this spot to call home for the week was perfect. "

"We had a bit of trouble getting into the home at first, but Justin was gracious and helpful. The place looked much like the photos. While there were more personal belongings than we’re used to in a rental, it was clean, well-kept, and well-equipped for a longer stay.The house isn’t particularly stylish, but it was comfortable… especially the king bed! It’s in a very quiet neighborhood with a mix of single-family homes and mobile homes. We met friendly neighbors and enjoyed some beautiful walks with our dog.The location is great for the cost: a short walk to the Loon Lake boat launch, a quick drive to Shawano County Park, about 15 minutes to downtown Shawano, and roughly a 20-minute walk to the golf course, which has a restaurant. Overall, it was a great value and priced lower than most other rentals in the area."
