need to step up house keeping

Pros: Good Location, safe area, security car in the lot at night.
Cons: Please step up the house keeping...
We booked two rooms, one room looked like it was not cleaned from the previous guest. They had to give us another room. The other room was generally clean but their was little plastic hooks on the floor??? And the AC duct in the bathroom had a 1/4 inch of dust visible through the vent. Kinda hard to miss while showering and you stare right at it.

Event Stay

Pros: would have never know about it if it was not for the event that was held. The staff was great!
Cons: the heat in you meeting area.
Location: not really much to tell.
The room was nice but the meeting center we were in for the meeting was so cold I almost left. All were complaining but it was never able to me fixed during the 1 day event.

Very Disappointed

I booked this hotel because they said they had an indoor pool. My wife and I were bring our 5 year old grandson for a spring break vacation. The hotel website said they had an indoor/outdoor pool that was heated. Half of the pool is indoor but the other half is outdoors. The only difference is a wall you swim under to get from outside to inside. It is not heated and the inside is the same temp as the outside which made both too cold to swim. The restaurant was above average in cost and the food choices was not that great. We went past the restaurant three different times and there was not one customer any time. The bar was crowded but the restaurant was empty. The room was clean but the sheets felt like sandpaper. We have stayed in many hotels but considering this is a MARRIOTT we were very disappointed.
