"Really outstanding staff"
I live in Taiwan and was only staying at Nathan overnight. My first room had poor air conditioning, and the quickly moved me to a different (and much larger) room where the AC was nice and cold. Rooms were clean, front desk was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I do wish they had a larger variety of snacks and drinks in the fridge- they would have made more money off me if they had. I will stay here again.

"Modern Hotel close to many good eateries."
A modern up market hotel with rooms, typically for Hong Kong on the small side. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There are many good and reasonably priced eateries in the area and the nearest MTR station is about a 5 minute walk away. On the down side, the T.V channels are limited. I was there during the Rugby World Cup which was available to watch in most of the local bars but was not available on the hotel T.Vs. The worst aspect for me however was the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms. It was a hassle to get the lap tops working in the hotel and only part of the lobby area seemed to work.

"Comfortable and great location "
The hotel was a little difficult to find when arriving in Hong Kong. There were no clear directions on how to get there. The area is somewhat congested and difficult to navigate if you have never been to Hong Kong before. Otherwise I have no complaints. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to a metro. It's in a great location with lots of food options in the area. The rooms were clean and modern. I recommend asking for a room on a higher level to get a better view. Typically above floor 20 is ideal. I enjoyed my stay here and recommend it. It's a great value.

"pretty decent...but not high-end"
the lobby was under construction when we went, so you didn't really get that "wow" effect that a lot of hotels give you...especially for the price. the room was nice...but nothing special. not a great view. the rooftop pool would have been cool if we were around during open hours though.

"Great Hotel, Location, Service and Hip Style"
Stayed there for 4 nights in September. The hotel is centrally located in Kowloon on Nathan Road. The style is very hip with a cool vibe, but not hard. The rooms and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel offers super high tech facilities. Free wifi and wired internet, free mobile phone to use while in HKG, 40 inch plasma TV, DVD Players, Ipod docking stations, chic design and cool bathrooms. I ate in Yamm and Coco bioth very good ( Coco is the espresso bar). Other restaurants were not open yet but were scheduled to open later that week. Staff always aiming to please. (Got lost once and used the mobile to dial the concierge and they diorected me to were to go) Combine the location with services and style and it is a winner. My new hotel in Hong Kong. Fitness facilities were not open yet but if they are like the rest of the hotel I expect them to be great.

Our Guide To Hong Kong Hotel Deals

A true vacation destination should offer something for all your physical senses to absorb. True, lasting memories are better created when you are able to associate them with a sight, smell, taste, sound, or touch. For a sensory getaway like no other, a trip to Hong Kong—literally translated as “fragrant harbor”—will serve as fodder for a lifetime of memories.

From high atop Victoria Peak, stare out across “Asia's World City” at the glistening glass and rough concrete skyscrapers as they rise from the city streets. Breathe in the wafting steam from a cup of hot, ambrosial tea as you relax in a sidewalk café. Savor the culinary delights of a faraway land while sampling exotic delicacies in a neighborhood eatery. Find Zen in the chaotic cacophony of the Temple Street Night Market. And, compare the quality of fine silks as you bargain with a vendor in a Kowloon bazaar. Because the city has grown up more so than out, hotels in Hong Kong are never too far from any sensational experience—in every sense of the phrase. Let Travelocity help you search Hong Kong hotel rooms today so you can soon be on your way to a uniquely memorable adventure in the “Pearl of the Orient.”

Where Are the Best Places to Stay in Hong Kong?

When deciding where to stay in Hong Kong, your best bet is to pick a district downtown that is close to either Victoria Harbor or Kowloon Bay. You’ll always be just a short drive to the peaks high above the city. But, more importantly, you’ll be able to walk to the colorful shops, aromatic restaurants, and dynamic street markets that the city is famous for. Here are some of our favorite neighborhoods and a few hotel ideas for good measure.

    Wan Chai

If you are a professional shopper, or an amateur hoping to join the ranks, Hong Kong hotels in Wan Chai are the place to stay. The stalls along Spring Garden Lane offer exquisite garments, while Queen’s Road is the place to go for rattan furniture (they ship to anywhere in the world), and techies go gaga over gadgets at the computer shops on Hennessy Road.

    • Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel: Situated next door to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the recently renovated Renaissance delivers a classic customer experience in a thoroughly modern setting. Find tranquility in a soothing soak in the marble bath or a deep sleep on the plush bedding.

    Causeway Bay

This high-density district is flush with unique shopping experiences down every bustling boulevard. Get lost in retail heaven in the 13-story Sogo department store or find a one-of-a-kind gift in a stall in an open-air street market. Once the “Noonday Gun” sounds from the harbor, you’ll know it’s time to find a local bistro for an amazing lunch.

    • City Garden Hotel: An ideal accommodation for both business travelers and vacationers alike, the City Garden has over 600 rooms and suites impeccably designed to impress and comfort. Conveniences like free in-room Wi-Fi, a smartphone for free international calls, and flat-screen television reflect the guestroom’s modern décor. Casual diners and cuisine connoisseurs will enjoy the Michelin-starred YUÉ, Garden Café buffet, and Singapore-style Satay.

    North Point

Nestled between the Causeway Bay and Quarry Bay neighborhoods, North Point offers sweeping vistas of Kowloon Bay across to Tsim Sha Tsui. Take an evening harbor cruise for a different perspective of the Hong Kong skyline as the towering buildings shine in every hue of the Technicolor rainbow.

    • Harbour Plaza North Point: Contemporary and elegant, the Harbour Plaza pampers its guests with well-appointed suites boasting harbor and mountain views, Wi-Fi access, and fully stocked minibars. Eat like a local at the upscale Hoi YatHeen Chinese restaurant or dine internationally at Greens Café. Spend the day by the rooftop pool or dance the night away at The Point lobby lounge.
