"perfect for one person per room"
If you are traveling alone, it is the best option, because rooms are very small. Maybe a couple that shares the same bed. Room with two single beds: unthinkable!

"simple stay"
I've stayed here again as simple and fair cost, boutique, a smaller version of the Cosmopolitan, The Cosmo feels more quaint and has decent breakfast options (that aren't cooked). Room is small, quiet. Great shower water pressure (for those that care!). Free wi-fi in lobby has a weak slow connection.

"Great location, spacious rooms."
The best aspect of this hotel is its location. Close by you have good bars and restaurants and its a short walk to the centre of Hong Kong Island. I recommend that if you are a non smoker to ask for a non smoking room. When I first checked in the room I had been allocated was on a smoking floor and the smell was very strong. I request to change and this was done quickly for me. You really do get the sense of being in the bustling heart of Hong Kong in this hotel and the rooms are spacious, new and clean.

Metropark (Kew Green) Hotel Wanchai Hong Kong

41-49 Hennessy Road, Hong Kong - Map
"Modern Hotel close to many good eateries."
A modern up market hotel with rooms, typically for Hong Kong on the small side. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There are many good and reasonably priced eateries in the area and the nearest MTR station is about a 5 minute walk away. On the down side, the T.V channels are limited. I was there during the Rugby World Cup which was available to watch in most of the local bars but was not available on the hotel T.Vs. The worst aspect for me however was the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms. It was a hassle to get the lap tops working in the hotel and only part of the lobby area seemed to work.

"Room clean and spacious"
Looks like hotel was recently renovated. Room size was pretty good given that it is in Hong Kong There are ONLY two elevators which becomes an issue when traffic in and out of the hotel is at the maximum. We had to go up 9 flights of stairs one time Bonus is that they have coin laundry facilities. Very rare to see nowadays. Con: everything costs money, even making local calls from your room or the concierge
