This was a very unique experience. The building was a former monastery from the 1100s. We stayed on one of the upper floors which had low-clearance, original beams. I’m 6’4” and had to duck a lot. We have stayed for one night only. The room was spacious and clean. It was quiet so we had a good night sleep. Breakfast was really good: wide selection of fresh produce and tasty treats. Another plus was free parking. Location is ok too - the hotel is not too far from a city centre.
